The Fiscal Division has an excellent opportunity for a financial professional to prepare, analyze, and reconcile financial data for state reports related to Medicaid programs in accordance with applicable state and federal regulations. This position is responsible for preparing monthly reconciliations of medical and administrative program expenditures and assists with maintaining accurate supporting work papers and preparing complex financial and statistical reports.


Minimum Qualifications

Qualified applicants must have a strong accounting background and professional level experience in a variety of accounting functions. Requires demonstrated ability to interpret and implement policy, with working knowledge of guidelines for state and federal reporting. Requires working knowledge of internal controls and work paper documentation. Experience using automated accounting systems and productivity software programs is required. Must demonstrate ability to work independently and complete projects on time in a fast-paced environment.


Preferred Qualifications

Experience using Oracle Government Financials and/or Cardinal Financial Systems is strongly preferred. Degree from an accredited college or university with major coursework in accounting, finance or business administration is preferred.

Additionally, Conflict of Interest Training must be completed within two months of employment.
