For our key client in Gent, we are
looking for a Business Architect.
Context
Our client is preparing a large program
for the possible replacement of the payroll engine and the
related systems. As
a possible outcome of this program collaboration with other
payroll providers
or third party software companies has to be investigated.
To prepare for this large multi-year
program a preliminary study project is initiated to analyze the
possible
scenario’s, estimate their impact and negotiate agreements. This
preparation
project will run as of April 1st 2019 till EOY 2019.
Job Description
We are looking for a senior business
architect to assist in the construction of different scenarios
and target
operating models for possible to-be architectures. With
architecture we mean
not only the IT-architecture but also the business architecture
consisting of
the business processes, the business functions and organization,
the people,
the information and data flows and the relationship between all
these aspects.
Responsibilities
the work on vision, desired target state and the benefits
the organization
brings to its stakeholders.
- Develop different target operating models
- Determine
the required business capabilities, supporting principles
and differences
between current and possible target states
principles and governing policies over interaction with
suppliers and
partners
in the formulation of a contextual business rationale to
determine the choice
of preferred target state.

Requirements
- Academic level
- Experienced
business analyst (minimum 5 years)
architect or business architect
in developing strategy development and business
transformation
understanding of business principles and concepts. This goes
beyond just
understanding of realization of these concepts via business
processes. It
encompasses understanding of how markets influence business,
what are the
differentiating factors of the business, what and how values
are created,
and how strategy development may be supported.
to think about business design and architecture in a way
that is
abstracted from how business functions are currently
implemented
of both technical and business aspects of digital
transformations and the
possible pain points in migration
to synthesize many ideas into big-picture views and show the
connection
between business intention and business action
